Ajaccio, the capital of Corsica, is the destination of arrival, by airport or by ferry, for many of the visitors arriving on the island. It is also one of the main attractions of the southern part of the island thanks to its history and its beaches.
The best area to stay in Ajaccio is its historic center where its main attractions are and where there is more atmosphere of restaurants, bars and shops. Another advantage of staying in the city center is that we will be close to the ferry station, which takes us to Toulon and Marseille, and close to the train station. The downside to staying in the center is that it is difficult to find parking if you travel by car.
